Bardon Mill Book Club

Basically, it's about books

Next Meeting - Tues, 9th March 2010

Welcome!

We're the Bardon Mill Book Club.

We're a group of people who like reading & talking about books. Most of us live in (or near) Bardon Mill, Northumberland, UK but some don't. You're welcome to join us, wherever you're from.

Each month, we choose to read a book and then meet up the next month to discuss it. If we can't make the meeting, we put our comments on the forum. This way, everyone can join in, even if they aren't in the area.

On this site you'll find out about us and the books we're reading at the moment.

Feel free to explore our site and join in the forums. If you're in the area, why not come along to one of our meetings. They're free and open to all.

We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 8.00 p.m. at the Twice Brewed Inn, Military Road. If you're not sure where that is, try this -

Directions to the Twice Brewed

Everyone's welcome!

Find that Book!

Can't find that book, try Google Book Search. It's amazing!

So sorry...

Sadly, we won't be able to have a meeting in February but

We'll be back in March.

For the March meeting, we thought that we'd ask everyone to come along and talk about what they're reading at the moment. We'll also use the time to plan our reading list for the next few months and to decide how we want the book club to develop.

Don't like the books - you choose one!

Could you choose our next book of the month?

Each month, a member of Bardon Mill Book Club chooses a book for the others to read. We like to give at least 2 months notice, so that people can plan ahead, share copies etc. We'd really like it if you'd would choose our next book. All you have to do, is click here
